Charming chalet decor with friendly staff and delicious meals made for a lovely stay. The rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the mountains provided the perfect relaxation after skiing.

I had an amazing time during my stay, especially because the location is right across from the main gondola that takes you up to breathtaking slopes. The facilities were perfectly tailored for party-goers like us, featuring a lively lounge area that was great for socializing after a day of skiing. The staff truly contributed to the buzz, as they organized fun events and ensured the atmosphere stayed vibrant.
The bar could have benefited from staying open later to maintain the party vibe.

The location is spot on, right opposite the main gondola, making those early morning ski trips a breeze. The food served is genuinely impressive. three courses each evening that feel like a fine dining experience, definitely not what you'd expect at a place like this.
The rooms are quite small, especially if you're sharing with a few folks. they can feel cramped and basic. I found the breakfast left a lot to be desired, lacking in hot options and quality variety, which made fueling up for a day on the slopes a bit of a challenge. The decor is showing its age, too, with some shabby areas that could really use a refresh. Noise can be an issue, both from fellow guests and staff, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, you might want to think twice.

The lounge area features big leather sofas and footstools, creating a comfortable setting to unwind after a long day. A lovely log fire adds warmth and a cozy vibe to the space that is perfect for relaxation.
Rooms are cramped, making it difficult to spend any time inside without feeling closed in. Breakfast lacks variety, with no hot food and minimal options, including only bread and a couple of pastries. Noise can be problematic, both from other guests and, at times, from the hotel staff, disrupting any chance of peace and quiet.

I enjoyed a great stay with excellent dinners offered each night, paired with a fantastic location just across from the main lift. the rooms felt small and the carpet was quite worn. I would stay here again if the carpet is replaced.

The room was basic but cozy, with comfortable firm beds and lovely wood paneling that gives it a nice chalet vibe. It was clean, with good storage and a flat-screen TV. The en-suite had plenty of hot water. The view from our room was fantastic, overlooking a snowy landscape, which was a nice touch! Just a bit cramped for space when we were all inside together, but overall, a snug place after a long day skiing.

Family with children suitable escapade
The breakfast was hearty with a great selection! after skiing all day, relaxing in a cozy bar area with comfy sofas was completely satisfying, especially with some nice drinks.
It wasn’t the cheapest place, but it was still reasonable for what you get.

i had a wonderful time at la meije during my recent visit. the food prepared by the chef was impressive, and the welcoming atmosphere surpassed my previous stay. i loved the staff's attention to detail, especially when they rearranged tables for us to enjoy dinner while watching a rugby match.
the bar could have stayed open later.
